The Adaptive Reading Test (ART) is a BYU-created test that is administered to students in their target language. This test aims to measure a student’s reading proficiency in the target language.

BYU requires the following:

  • Arrive appropriately dressed in accordance with BYU’s dress and grooming standards (e.g., men should be clean-shaven, clothing should be modest and compatible with wearing temple garments, whether or not endowed).
  • Get a good night’s sleep before your test.

Students will receive:
